A lot has happened, yet not much has been accomplished.
To start off with, as far as my package mailings go, I continued to be sick and the past couple weeks have only been feeling human. I still have a deep chest wheeze and am coughing up crap from time to time. I am going to see about getting my butt into the doctor. I am concerned it may be something nasty. What this has to do with the mailings, well, I still wasn't feeling well enough to get out and get those out.
I am upset at the whole situation.
What also doesn't help is that I seem to no longer have a drivers license. Long story, but that will be rectified next week. So even if I snagged the car from my husband, I can't drive.
Dunno if this was mentioned before, but my car, my poor little white bimmer (it was an '83) finally is pushing up daisies. It was going to take more than the cost of the car to get it fixed. Fuel distributor.
Last week, our hamster died. Baby water dragon was devastated. She was a little over two, so for a hamster, that's a pretty good age, and since my hamster died, we have been preparing the baby water dragon for her death. Tuesday night she was all rambuncious, running in her wheel, and Wednesday she was lifeless by her food dish.
We took the baby water dragon out to see if she wanted another pet. We came home with three gerbils.
My father had decided he wasn't coming down for the March Pow Wow, which was being held over the Easter Weekend. And that was fine. There is a not good history with him and our family. My neice's birthday was Monday, so it was celebrated on Saturday. Then we had Easter Dinner planned with everyone here. My dad decided Thursday night he had enough money, and was hinting for a celebratory invitation of him to come down. It's a 20 hour drive for him, and it would have been better for him to come this weekend. He was nicely and pointedly told several times that next weekend would be better. Friday morning he decided to leave and come down.
It threw a big monkey wrench in everything.
But, for my Birthday, I did get a Wacom. I'm not very good at it, but I have doodled a couple things. I'll post them laters. I just need to get a little cozier with my art programs.
Wow, I didn't mean for this to turn into a lot of whining. Blah. I hope to get my butt back on track this week. I have lots of packages to mail now, and things to get caught up on.
